Pricing and Information

If you are interested in having me draw something for you send me an e-mail at furbabiesportraits@gmail.com with a reference picture. Make sure the picture is a decent size and detailed (remember I can only draw what I see so if the detail is low, the detail in the drawing will be low). Please do not submit pictures from a cell phone.  The quality on them is just not detail nor clear enough when blown up to an 8x10 or larger size. We will then make all the arrangements for size at that time. I have found that color pencils work best on larger sizes, so I will not create a drawing smaller than an 8x10.  I require a 50% down payment before I will start any work.  When that is received, I will start your work. Throughout the rendering process I will send you updates just to show you where I'm at with the work. When the work is done I will send you one last e-mail with the finished product. If you are satisfied with the work I will make preparations to deliver the drawing. At this point the remaining 50% will be paid.


The drawings are worked on during my days off from my full-time job.   An 8x10 usually takes about 20-30 hours to complete.   If you are needing a drawing done by a certain time, please make sure to give me ample time and notice so I can make sure it is completed and you are satisfied with the results. 


All drawings are done with professional Prismacolor Pencils, Stonehedge paper, and sealed with Prismacolor Fixative gloss.   I draw them to be standard sizes so it should be easy to find matting and framing at decent prices.  I do not have the equipment to do my own framing, but I do have experience with this and I may be able to help with suggestions.


If you are local (Boise area) I will make arrangements to meet you in person to deliver the picture.  If we are unable to make arrangements to have the picture delivered in person, then there will be a reasonable shipping fee that we can discuss at that time.  I just want to make sure that the picture will be received safely by you, with no damages.


Throughout the whole process, I will keep you informed and updated on the progress of your picture.   If for any reason you are unhappy, please let me know.  Open communication is the best and only way to make sure the final product turns out beautifully.   The initial deposit is non-refundable, it is to cover supplies and the time spent.  If we are unable to come up with a final product that you are happy with; then no further payment is needed and I will keep the picture for my records.   Though I have never had this happen, it is my ultimate goal to make sure you are happy.

A Paypal button has been set up on the main page at the top left to assist with purchasing.  You do not have to have an account with them to use this, its just for your ease and benefit.  It is a secure and easy to use.   It is set up so you have 2 choices for payments.   You can either pay the entire amount at once, or the amount has been cut in half for deposit and final balance.  Basically you would need to pay half to begin and the other half after completion.   If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
