Merry Christmas!

I just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!  I have been so blessed to have the opportunities that I have been given in the last couple of months.   I am so excited for all of the pictures I have done and the many more that I have planned!  I will start back on pictures probably after the 1st.  I have been working graves for the last several months and I start back on a day shift starting January 1st.  Have a feeling my sleeping schedule is going to be a little messed up the first couple of days.  Once I can get adjusted again, I will jump right back into drawing.  I know that I have people counting on me, and I promise to get your pictures done as soon as I can.

Here is wishing you and your loved ones a Happy Holiday Season!

Love,

Kelli

How Exciting!

I had to share this!  I have never seen one of my pictures professionally matted and framed before.  And I was so nervous about this picture but it looks so good!  I am so glad they shared this with me!

Hello!

The holidays are almost here and I have been busy working on pictures.  I am working on my last one due by Christmas.  It made me actually update my pricing page to request that pictures taken from a cell phone to not be used.  I am having a heck of time with the picture I am working on because there is just not enough details in the faces for me to know if I am accurately drawing them.   So I am having to request another picture.  I feel bad doing this but I don't feel I can create a picture that either one of us would be very happy with.  This is still a learning process for me, so it may not be unusual for me to keep tweaking this as I go.

Hello!

We are down to one week til Christmas, the time is flying by very fast!  I just finished another portrait (below) this morning and I have one more to get done before Christmas.  I never ever thought that I would be so busy doing something that I love - pretty cool!  ;o)   I hope everyone is having a fantastic Holiday Season!

Hi!

I have posted a new picture and I am quite proud of it!  Its called "Best Friends", it was pretty challenging but I but I believed it turned out quite well.  :o)  I am finally catching up with my Christmas orders and I can't even express how happy I am that I have this opportunity to do something that I love.   I have a few more pictures to do and I will post them once they are completed.  I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and remember that spending time with family and friends is really what this season is about.  Take care!

New Pictures!

Hello!

I have added 3 pictures I have completed in the last week.  I am not posting them on Facebook to hopefully not give away someone's Christmas present.  I am keeping quite busy though! It feels like I have 2 full time jobs, both with overtime right now :o) But being able to get these three done and have another one almost done is making me feel much better.    The picture I am currently working on has unbelievable amount of detail in the background and its taking longer to do than I expected.  It is probably one of the hardest pictures I have done and I am trying very hard to do a really good job on it.  Though I will be the first admit that I wish I had a teacher to go to this week for advice :o)  Definitely a learning process, but I want my client happy with the end result.  :o)  I will post on here once its completed!

Congratulations!

As mentioned in a prior post,  I was asked to sponsor for a drawing for My Precious Kids LLC on Facebook.  I never, ever, thought I would get the response that I did!!  I sponsored a $50 gift certificate to go towards one of my drawings.  In just a few short days, I went from 78 fans to 429.  Isn't that absolutely crazy??  I even got compliments in french!  Which, I am sorry, is pretty darn cool!  This experience has been completely wonderful!

And the WINNER is....  Erica Raposa!!!   Congratulations Erica, I am so excited to work with you!  :o)

Well back to drawing, I have 7 drawings to do before Christmas, so I must get busy!

Oh Wow!!!

The last several days have been absolutely amazing!  I am officially booked through Christmas.  I will be happy to take orders, I just can not guarentee  them completed before Christmas.   As it is right now, I have a picture scheduled to be worked on every week, including Christmas week itself.  Its going to be a very busy and exciting holiday season!  If you are interested in having a picture done, please email me.   I will get them done as fast as I can!

I wanted to thank a friend and a wonderful photographer by the name of Ashlee Murphy.  She owns Number 41 Photography based in Emmett, ID. Check out her website at http://number41photography.blogspot.com/  She recommended me to sponser a give away on Facebook for My Precious Kid LLC and the response has been overwhelming!  Everyone has been so sweet and its exciting to know that so many people have seen my work and like it.  I know that sounds silly.  But its one thing to draw for family and friends and get a nice compliment.  Its WAY different to hear it from people you have never met!

Thanks again to everyone for the support!

Such a great day!

Thank you for checking out my blog and my artwork!  This has been so much fun and exciting getting everything figured out and set up!   Very much a learning experience and there is still a lot for me to figure out.  But I am getting there!  Friends and family have been very helpful with ideas and I appreciate their support more than words can say!
I have added some new features to my blog that I hope will be helpful.    I have added a Paypal button located at the top left to assist with orders. Hopefully that will make things so much easier for everyone.  I have also added a tab for pricing and details.   Please feel free to email me if you have any questions or even suggestions.   This is still very new to me and I am learning as I go.  :o)    I have also joined the CPSA today, which has been a goal of mine for several years now.  I just didn't feel I had enough experience til now to even consider it.   I am so excited to have a chance to learn some new techniques and build my skills up even more.  I am self taught and never knew anyone that I could learn from so I am hoping this will open up a whole new world of opportunities!  I even have a snazzy logo to attach to show I am a member now!

                                  Pretty huh?!!  :o)

Well I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!   Please check back and I will keep updating my blog with new pictures!

Thanks for visiting!
